Also, being in the thrift store where the radio was on, I think I heard more political ads in 15 minutes than I have this entire year.

I'm compiling an election day pissed-off show tomorrow, if you have any suggestions since I know you've got some sonic overlap, please feel free to send them my way! I was thinking about playing "Cult of Personality" on repeat for two hours and thought that would just be cruelty on top of cruelty. Every vote with some thought is mixed, nuanced, balances good and evil. I love some stuff Obama does, am sort of crabbily accepting about some, and loathing about some. And while I don't want a drone to kill a baby in my name, my and your daughter's need for unrestricted urgent medical care matters more. For example. Repeat for every issue I can think of.

As for the notion that no vote is likely to be decisive. True. But misses the point. A very small popular vote plurality encourages/increases the likelihood that the Supremes will decide the election. I don't think that is a good thing for us now and for the future of the nation.

(Yeah, I've got too many issues here.) Third party? Anybody who is interested in a serious third party alternative needs to start working on that next Wednesday. And never quit. Otherwise it's just jerking off imho of course.

Also CK, zencomix is exactly right about every combination of numbers. After selecting the area code and first three digits which are locally specific. That's only 9999. Then the computer learns which ones don't work and which ones are commercial and doesn't repeat them. Therefore you number is increasingly likely to be chosen as others are eliminated from the list of possibilities.

In my state robocalls are not legally allowed to leaving messages on your machine. You need that law too.Sashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06501998212859335778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3020960402708303830.post-6882025650848596502012-11-04T12:09:30.361-05:002012-11-04T12:09:30.361-05:00"but whatever), so you better get out and VOT..."but whatever), so you better get out and VOTE or else those liberals and Obama will EAT YOUR CHILDREN. No idea on how we got on any of these call lists. "

I suspect there is no call list. I suspect the computer that controls the robocalls is merely dialing every possible combination of numbers within the state's area codes.

Also, too...thanks for the link the other day.zencomixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02425613931488064403noreply@blogger.com
