[I'll never attempt writing the essay My Theory of Poetry]

I'll never attempt writing the essay My Theory of Poetry.
Writing in haiku for instance: why will remain unexamined. I
have no theories, no philosophies, the subject/object debate bores
me, convenient since my ineptitude spoiled all grad term papers.
I write like writers I can't stand read, Lispector, Proust, Beckett, Kafka,
interrogators of the minute and banal frame by frame by frame
examination of subject object subject colonoscopies
driving our tiny brains' blind quest for clarity and comprehension.
As for poetry, establishing a second tablet to talk back
to first and stretching haiku to seventeen beat lines is new gimmick.
