next i would like "i'll be there for you" - the "friends" theme song
as i get older i find myself less willing to suspend disbelief about my imaginary friends and acquaintances - i have a tendency to think of them as just characters in a tv show
and speaking about tv, this week i have read part of ABC newsman Dan Harris's book "10% Happier", after seeing on youtube a conversation between him and Richard "Richie" Davidson - youtube is so full of a number of things...
the epigraphs are interesting, in my opinion:
We are in the midst of a momentous event in the evolution of human consciousness, but they won't be talking about it in the news tonight. ---Eckhart Tolle, self-help guru
Open up your mind, in pours the trash. ---Meat Puppets, "desert punk" band
I think MTM Show one of the last sitcoms I watched regularly, certainly nothing since. Earthgirl & Planet watched Friends, what I saw and heard from around the house looked awful.
Other than the Star Trek franchises, I can't remember the last time I dutifully had a date with a weekly TV show, and those Star Trek ones were twenty years ago.
nice
